IE8 deprecation details
As you may have seen in a recent Google blog post, support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) will be deprecated beginning November 15, 2012. Starting this week, IE8 users will begin seeing an in-product notification that their browser will soon be unsupported. If you have users accessing Google Apps from IE8, we want to ensure your users are ready to have the best Google Apps experience. We strongly recommend that our customers implement a dual-browser strategy by deploying Google Chrome for Business for Google Apps use and leaving IE8 for legacy web apps. Contact us for more information.
