Labels are a Gmail feature that enables you to identify and find your messages. Labels are similar to folders but better: you can add more than one Label to an email message or email conversation. Messages that have a Label may be Archived or may remain in your inbox. Once you've created a Label, you may view all messages with that Label by clicking the Label name along the left side of any Gmail window.
